May Campion, Executive Assistant and Office Manager, Sydney Head Office

May Campion joined the team at Intec in February 2011 as Executive Assistant and Office Manager. She brings with her a wealth of experience in office management and high-level executive support both locally and overseas.

May has enjoyed a diverse, interesting and successful career to date, one of the highlights being her recent senior executive support role to the Australian Government at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. Given May’s proven Sino-Australian business acumen together with her fluent Mandarin and English language competence, the company looks forward to the impetus she will bring to current and future projects, including in particular those which are China-related.

Maritza Valencia-Bejarano, Process Engineer

Maritza joined Intec Ltd in January 2004, after completing a Master of Engineering Research on Particle Technology in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Sydney in 2003. Prior to this she worked in Colombia for 3 years as a Process Engineer in food manufacturing plants and ethanol distilleries.

At Intec Ltd she initially worked as a Shift Supervisor in the Intec Gold Process pilot plant at Brookvale for commissioning and plant operation. Then she worked as a Process Engineer for the design, construction, commissioning and operation of the Hellyer Metals Demonstration Plant in Tasmania. Currently, she is working on the Intec Metals Recycling Project.

Her duties for various projects include development of operating procedures, process troubleshooting, demo plant supervision and operation. She is also responsible for the Honeywell control system monitoring and campaigns data collection to perform the overall mass and energy balances to evaluate and report key performance indicators for each demo plant campaign.
