Projects
Current projects concentrate on the two core areas of waste recycling and minerals processing. Both areas use optimised versions of the Intec Process to extract and recover metals from a wide range of feedstocks.
- Burnie Demonstration Plant - Commercial-scale recycling of heavy metal waste (see also Waste Processing technology)
- Spent Pickle Liquor Recycling - Technology development project for galvanising industry wastes
- Chinese waste processing - Proposed dedicated Intec Process plant(s) under development in China, firstly via the 50,000tpa Stage 1 development of the Liuzhou Project in southern China
- Mineral processing via the Browns Sulphide Project and other projects
A number of project-related operations have been conducted in recent years, such as:
- Burnie Demonstration Plant
- Intec Copper Process Demonstration Plant
- Intec Copper Process Electrowinning Cell
- Intec Gold Process Pilot Plant
For all of these projects, Intec works collaboratively with its relevant strategic partners, whose assistance can be invaluable to the timely pursuit of opportunities.
In addition, Intec receives a substantial number of enquires regarding our world-leading portfolio of halide hydrometallurgical technologies. Many of these projects offer tremendous potential when combined with Intec’s technology, and the Company continues to be interested in technical collaboration with companies that have capabilities in related fields.
