Environmental Solution of the Year Award Intec was pleased to receive the “Environmental Solution of the Year Award” at the 7th Annual Manufacturers' Monthly Endeavour Awards. The award recognises Intec’s heavy metal waste recycling operation at Burnie, which has successfully solved a 15 year-old intractable hazardous waste problem for the Tasmanian plating industry. Sulo Innovation in Sustainability Award
Intec was yesterday announced as a finalist for the Sulo Innovation in Sustainability Award as part of the Enviro 2010 conference in Melbourne. To view the press release, click here
Intec will be presenting at the Enviro 2010 conference in July, which will be opened by the Federal Environment Minister, the Hon. Peter Garrett, and will be attending the gala dinner at which the award winner will be announced.
Profitable Minerals Testwork Picking Up
Intec has received notification this week of the imminent arrival of anticipated mineral samples from two separate clients. Both of these represent previously-announced international project opportunities for the application of the Intec Process. Intec's technical team are keen to get started on this paid testwork at the first available opportunity, subject to the high-priority activity associated with Stage 2 of the Victorian galvanising waste recycling project.
